I love recreating my favourite restaurant dishes at home! Lucille’s (in Montreal) has an amazing octopus on their menu, and made my own version tonight! I bought the octopus at my local fish store, and it was cleaned and pre-tenderized. Check out the recipe below.

Serves 2-4
Ingredients
1 lb baby octopus, cleaned, pre-cooked/tenderized
1 tbsp olive oil
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup cucumber, chopped
1 cup tomatoes, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
Optional: 1/4 cup crumbled bulgarian feta
Salt and pepper to taste

Dressing
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp greek seasoning
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Combine octopus with 1 tbsp olive and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
2. Combine cucumber, tomato, pepper and feta bowl. Mix all dressing ingredients together in a small bowl, and add to salad ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Either grill the octopus on the BBQ or in a cast-iron pan, for 2-3 minutes per side, until octopus just curls.
4. Serve with greek salad and top wth extra lemon juice.
