I call this my special salmon because it is ALWAYS a hit! I’ve made this in the oven and on the BBQ, and both ways come out delicious. I personally love how my salmon comes out when I cook it in the whole filet, but you can cut it into individual filets if you’d like. Check out the recipe below ⠀

Serves: 4-5

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet
Optional toppings: sliced green onions, 1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds

FOR THE HOISIN-MAPLE GLAZE
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp Sriracha sauce
1 sliced green onion

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 425° F.
2. In a saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients and cook over medium high heat. Cook until sauce begins to thicken.
3. Put salmon filet on a lined or greased baking sheet. Coat filets with glaze and top with sesame seeds.
4. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, depending on size of filet. If cooking individual filets, cook for 12-15 minutes.
5. Top with additional sesame seeds and green onions! Enjoy!
