2 Tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot flour

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 Tbsp neutral oil

For the sauce:

1/4 cup soy sauce or tamati

2 Tbsp honey or coconut sugar

1 tsp sriracha or chilli sauce

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 clove garlic, minced

1 Tbsp sesame oil

2 Tbsp sesame seeds

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chicken, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Add oil and chicken to the pan. Stir-fry chicken for 5-6 minutes, until it’s golden brown.
  2. While chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, honey, sriracha, ginger, garlic, sesame and sesame oil. Set aside.
  3. Once chicken is cooked, add sauce to the pan and stir to coat. Allow sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes, until thickened and sticky.
  4. Plate chicken and sprinkle with green onions and more sesame seeds. Serve with hot rice and veggies!
  5. Stays good in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
